Given the age of Jubilee line 96TS (1996 Train Stock), several systems are now experiencing obsolescence which impact the fleet’s maintainability and day-to-day availability. The aspiration is for the fleet to operate, with an acceptable level of Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety (RAMS), until replacement in approximately 2045.
To address these obsolescence issues, London Underground (LU) have mobilised a project to develop and implement a sustainable solution.
