As a blue light emergency service, Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service (LFRS) will require fleet maintenance and repairs, especially those delivered on-station, to have a degree of flexibility and be capable of adapting to the LFRS changing operational requirements.
The service has a heavy fleet of 58 Front-line pumping appliances, 15 Special appliances and 9 reserve appliances requiring a range of pre-planned and response maintenance and repair.
