Forestry and Land Scotland (FLS) have a requirement to undertake Ground Preparation and Mechanised Establishment Operations (“the Service”) on various sites following the completion of harvesting operations and on woodland creation sites where ground needs to be prepared for forest establishment. The Service will prepare the sites so that they are in optimal condition for replanting.
