This is a UK1 Pipeline notice in reference to the Non-Emergency Patient Transport Services (NEPTS) Provision of Taxi support services to East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust.
Whilst EMAS undertakes the vast majority of journeys, there is a need for extra demand in the system to cover the Non-Emergency Patient Transport side of things. The intention is to award separate lots, with taxi providers providing necessary service within that area….
